  Failures

Why on earth would I put a web page on my site that lists my failures?

First off, I’m not afraid of failure. I do my best to learn from my mistakes and each mistake I make usually takes me closer to my goal. I’ve accepted the fact that learning from your mistakes and past failures is part of the process of growing.

Now, I don’t like screwing up any more than the next guy, but I’ve also learned that the world isn’t going to come to a crashing end because I goofed.

My personal policy: Learn what I can, correct what I can and move on. I try not to let setbacks hinder me for long.

The bottom line: Failure is normal. It’s necessary. It’s okay to fail. What’s not okay is to not try. Failure isn’t fun but it makes you stronger. And wiser.

Thomas Edison tried over a thousand times before he created a light bulb that worked. He fully recognized that each failure brought him closer to his goal. He told a reporter after he succeeded that he was bound to discover what elements would work, as he had discovered every element that wouldn’t. That’s the proper context of failure

I call it “Stumbling Forward.”

Despite my considerable time in the corporate sector, I’m a serial entrepreneur. Failed at numerous entrepreneurial business attempts through out life, generally due to (what I now know) was lack of marketing skills

Have repeatedly failed to recognize that I was incapable of accomplishing many of the things I have indeed accomplished, and refused to accept that many things are simply impossible to do.
